Here we have a very special car indeed. Believed to be the oldest Jaguar MK1 in existence, it is the 22nd car produced. The car had one owner for the first 44 years and only two subsequently. I have owned the car for the last 5 years. It has covered 42,000 miles from new. Apart from a high quality respray approximately 10 years ago the car is all original. The carpets,leather,woodwork,and roof lining are superb and original as is the chrome. The car has the rare "narrow" cast iron grille and many other early features. You will see that the car has the optional open rear spats as opposed to the full ones. The car does not have overdirive, I am informed this was not an option until 1957. It still has its original Motor Rola radio (which works when it feels like it!)The complete unused tool kit is in the boot, and there is an original handbook brochure, and spare keys. The car drives beautifully. If you want to own an historically important car the this is possibly bthe best MK1 Jaguar in existence. An absolutley superb example of what some call the best Jaguar they never made. This lovely car from 1966 has had a total restoration with many photos. This is a lovely example of one of the finest executive cars of the 50's. Sharing its engine of 2.6 litres with the Austin Healey it was a great performer by anyones standards. This older restoration still stands very well with a good solid body and excellent chrome. The interior original leather is in very good order. It benefits from having been changed to a floor change for the gearbox as opposed to Austin's truly dreadful column change. It would certainly make an excellent long distance touring car.

The Morris Cowley was the best selling car in the UK in the mid 20's due to their legendary reliability.This particular car was one of the first built with 4 wheel brakes. it has a known history back to 1936. It was found derelict in 1989 and without a body. A new alloy over ash body in the style of the rarest of all tourers was commisioned from the marque experts Cooke Bros following which the engine was rebuilt and the dynastart and magneto overhauled.
